04 — How it works

Assisted procurement, step by step.

In this version Silver River runs the process with you. Automation grows where it earns trust.

For buyers

Four steps, one point of contact.

  1. 01

    Share your requirements

A short, structured form captures workload, scale, regions, timing and constraints. Advanced details are optional.

Output: a request with a reference ID and a named Silver River contact.

  2. 02

    Review matched options

We invite qualified suppliers to quote and normalise their proposals so the technical and commercial terms are comparable.

Output: side-by-side options with explicit inclusions, exclusions and validity.

  3. 03

    Confirm terms and capacity

Choose an option and ask to proceed. We confirm capacity with the supplier and coordinate contract terms.

Output: confirmed capacity, agreed terms, an order record.

  4. 04

    Deploy with coordinated support

Provisioning milestones, access hand-over and issues are tracked in one place with the supplier and our team.

Output: a deployment timeline and a single thread for follow-up.

We do not promise fixed response or delivery times. Each request shows its own next step and who owns it.

For suppliers

From application to delivery.

  1. 01

    Apply

Company, contacts, regions, resource types and who operates what.

  2. 02

    Qualification

We review authorisation, operations and security posture. Approval is per company; verification is per listing.

  3. 03

    Invitations

Approved suppliers are invited to quote on matching requests. You see a scoped brief, not the buyer's full identity, until it is released.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Confirm capacity, agree terms with Silver River and report milestones in the shared case.

Status model

What each request status means.

  • Draft
    Not yet submitted.
  • Submitted
Received. Silver River is reviewing the requirement.
  • Clarifying
Silver River has questions before sourcing can start.
  • Sourcing
Qualified suppliers are being asked to quote.
  • Offers ready
Comparable options are ready for review.
  • Negotiating
Terms are being finalised with the selected supplier.
  • Contracted
Terms confirmed. An order has been created.
  • Provisioning
The supplier is preparing the environment.
  • Active
    Capacity is live.
  • Completed
    Term ended.
  • Cancelled
    This request was cancelled.

Buyers can submit and cancel. Contracted, provisioning and active are set by Silver River once confirmed with the supplier.

Boundaries

What runs where

Procurement and delivery management are the control plane: requests, quotes, orders, deployment status. Your model requests, training data and GPU workloads are the data plane and never pass through Silver River.

Control plane · Silver River

Automated provisioning, live usage reporting and a unified inference API are later-phase interfaces; nothing in this version pretends to run your jobs.
